The Lexington Public School nurses are dedicated to promoting the health and well-being of all students. Each school has a registered nurse on-site, providing comprehensive healthcare services, from routine check-ups to managing acute illnesses and injuries. These nurses collaborate with parents, teachers, and other healthcare providers to ensure students are healthy and ready to learn.
A district-wide nurse leader oversees health office operations, ensuring compliance with state regulations. This leader works closely with a school physician to provide expert guidance and support to the nursing team. By prioritizing student health, the nursing team contributes to a positive and productive learning environment.
