Lexington Public Schools has currently contracted with C&W Transportation for the safe and timely transport of our students to and from school each day. Collaboration between the transportation company, schools, Central Office and parents/families helps to ensure a safe, enjoyable ride to and from school for all students.

All bus riders must register for the bus every year. If you child is in grades K–6 and you live more than 2 miles from your districted school, your child is eligible for town-paid bus service. Registrations are still necessary. All bus riders in grades 7–12 must pay the fee.

Transportation Registration

BUS REGISTRATION FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR IS OPEN

  • The deadline for the lowest fee was July 1st, 2024 (with the exception of new families who still qualify).  The bus fee is now $550/student ($1,375 family cap).

  • Payment is due 8/1/2024.  Payment can be made through your MySchoolBucks account or by mailing a check made out to the Town of Lexington to 146 Maple St, Lexington, MA 02420.

  • PLEASE ALLOW 24-48 HOURS FOR NEW BUS REGISTRATIONS TO BE PROCESSED.

  • Some bus routes are at capacity. Please be aware that your child may be placed on a waiting list.
